When he's not selling buckles Jim is busy serving his local community as a volunteer Firefighter-EMT and a Reserve Deputy Sheriff. He was instrumental in helping to set up a very active Citizens Crime Watch in his Community. Jim received the Driver of the Year award in 2008 from one of the largest freight carrier companies in America. Jim has surpassed the 2.5 Million Mile Safe Professional Driver marker and gives God all the praise for every safe mile. He was also nominated as a finalist in the Driver Citizen Award hosted by T/A Travel Centers.

 

Jim has been married to Karen since 1982, and they are members of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, Texas. They are born Texans and born again believers in Jesus Christ.
